Job Overview:
The Inventory Specialists work in the QEC Department and are responsible for receiving, processing, stock movement and shipping of all items in and out of LCI following guidelines and standards outlined in the RSM.
Responsibilities and Duties (included but not limited to)
· Performs all work in strict accordance with the LCI RSM and QCM Manuals
· Ensure all items listed on a packing list and PO are received.
· Ensure all items being processed have the proper identification and trace paperwork.
· Ensure all items are captured in the LCI inventory system (Quantum).
· Determine that no defective, unserviceable, un-airworthy parts and parts with incorrect or lack of trace, are processed into the inventory for use.
· Contact QA and Customer Service or Purchasing with any discrepancies.
· Take pictures of items being received / shipped and attach to the inventory entry in Quantum.
· Scan paperwork of items being received /shipped and attach to the inventory entry in Quantum.
· Items will be processed on a priority basis with the priority job in work receiving and issuing parts first.
· Communicate via e-mail to Planning, Customer Service and QA when Parts have arrived with Parts received/PO# and WO#. This allows planning to accommodate.
· Notify Inspection of all items received in from Outside Services for repairs. These must be inspected for RO compliance prior to issuing.
· Ensure items being shipped are clean, drained/purged of fluids and packaged properly and verified by inspection.
· Use the shipping checklist.
· Ensure the inventory system is kept current.
· Ensure all Scrap and Pending Disposition items are processed regularly.
Qualifications:
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Able to pass drug test/background check – we are a drug free work place!
· Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds – engines and parts can be extremely heacy and will take a lot of strength to move or manipulate
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Able to work independently when required
· Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, laying horizontally, climbing ladders and/or work stands, walking, etc., as job may require
· Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and overtime
