Inventory Specialist will play a key role in managing stock level, improving data quality, as well as safeguarding the company’s assets.
Responsibilities:
Stock Management:
· Collaborate with purchasing and logistic team (both domestic and overseas) by providing inventory reports and conducting bi-weekly review of scheduled purchase orders to prevent both stock-outs and overstocks.
· Evaluate inventory reports and order patterns to optimize the re-ordering process with an objective to improve the inventory turnover.
· Monitor all the incoming deliveries, maintain accurate daily records of goods received and ensure all the goods are properly received in the warehouse in a timely manner, report and/or escalate upon any anomalies.
· Monitor all the outbound deliveries, maintain accurate daily records of goods delivered, and ensure all deliveries have adequate supporting documents (such as SO) before leaving the warehouse.
· Organize month-end and year-end stock counts, prepare stock count reports, cycle counts, analyze deviations, and propose corrective measures. The objective is the eliminate any deviation at SKU level.
· Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
· Monitor all the physical scraps, maintain accurate daily records of all the scraps, and ensure all the scraps are properly authorized.
· Enhance inventory batch management, and generate stock aging report.
Material Data Management:
· Collaborate with engineering and product development team (both domestic and overseas) to review and complete the required attributes for master data ( about 5000 SKUs) as well as to organize and prepare service BOMs for the ERP system implementation.
· Establish safety stock level, re-order point for all the SKUs to ensure the ERP system is able to generate accurate purchase requests.
Requirements:
· Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers and other functional teams.
· Good understanding of inventory control and material planning procedures.
· Extremely organized and detail oriented.
· Good Excel skills and prior WMS or ERP system experiences required.
· Fluent in Chinese
· College degree or equivalent required.
Other:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
· Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
