Join our team at JUSTIN as we prepare for the grand opening of our new state-of-the-art distribution warehouse this Spring! We are seeking an Inventory Specialist who appreciates working in the business while working on the business. In partnership with Warehouse Management, the Demand Planner, and warehouse staff, this Specialist will work within our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to accurately manage inventory by ensuring inventory practices are followed thoroughly.
- Conduct regular cycle counts between physical inventory and system records, investigating and resolving any inventory discrepancies
- Utilize data analysis tools and software to monitor, analyze, and interpret inventory data within the automated warehouse system
- Monitor the performance of the WMS system and assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues
- Support the Demand Planner with regular reports on inventory metrics (i.e., stock levels, turnover rates, storage capacity, etc.)
- Effectively communicate with Warehouse management and Demand Planning to develop and implement strategies for optimizing inventory processes
- Identify opportunities for inventory process improvements and implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Logistics and procurement, to communicate inventory-related information and/or concerns
- Facilitates proper inventory management practices with the use of an automated warehouse system
- Support WOW (Way of Work) initiatives in the company's continuous improvement program
- 2+ years' experience working with inventory in a warehouse setting
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to interpret inventory data and trends
- Proficient in using inventory management software and automated warehouse systems
- Attention to detail to identify and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records
- Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Excellent organizational skills to manage responsibilities
- BA/BS in a Supply Chain or Business-related field is a plus
Pay Range: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
