Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels for all products in the warehouse
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure proper stock levels are maintained
- Utilize inventory management systems to track and monitor inventory movement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory processes and procedures
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports using Power BI or similar tools
- Monitor product expiration dates and coordinate with appropriate teams for timely disposal or replenishment
- Assist in the procurement process by identifying suppliers, negotiating prices, and placing orders
- Oversee the receiving and storage of incoming shipments
- Coordinate with distribution center for timely and accurate order fulfillment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory control, preferably in a warehouse or retail management setting
- Proficient in using inventory management systems and software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate reports
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
