Job Description
The Inventory Control (IC) person monitors the internal and external flow of inventory while maintaining accurate inventory records. The IC will process daily shipments, unload and inspect freight, process inventory transfers, move and organize inventory, pull requested items for jobs, help with deliveries as needed, and conduct monthly/quarterly inventory counts.
Qualifications:
- Proficient computer skills – data entry, typing, 10-key
- Prior experience in inventory management, shipping and/or receiving
- Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks
- Ability to lift/carry 40 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Detail oriented and adept at managing multiple priorities
- Good driving record
