Job Description
· Provides solutions on procedures and issues regarding Inventory Control, ensures legal compliance to requirements, and interacts with internal/external customer.
· Independently identifies root causes and resolves issues pertaining to financial impact to Logistics and Value-Add facilities.
· Gives direction and provides solutions regarding inventory discrepancies and reports.
· Creates written procedures and policies to comply with internal and external customer requirements pertaining to processes.
· Acts as a consultant to project leaders to implement new or transferred business as an expert in inventory software systems and compliance knowledge.
· Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
· The candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office tools, Excel in particular.
· Experience with Inventory Control
· Ability to identify a problem and provide solutions.
· Experience interacting with both internal and external customers.
· Can complete work with a limited degree of supervision.
· Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is a plus.
Education:
· Requires a 2-year degree and 2-4 years of experience or High school graduate with equivalent related experience.
· May require specific certifications. 4-year degree in supply management preferred.
