Inventory Control Specialist

Synergy Florida has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Inventory Control Specialist for our Orlando warehouse; experienced in working with Inventory Control-systems in a Construction-Contractor Warehouse or related work-environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or the equivalent.
• Available to work Monday through Friday.
• Valid Florida Driver's License (if license is out-of-state, must obtain a Florida Driver’s License within 14 days of hire date).
• Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment background check process (includes drug screen).
• Minimum of 2 years Warehouse experience.

Required Skills:

• Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills; deliver excellent customer service; work quickly/efficiently while adhering to demanding quality and safety standards; work independently with minimal supervision; accurately count for inventory process.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Inventory Control; including, but not limited to: Shipping/Receiving/Staging, Processing Special Orders, Vendor Returns, Inventory Counts and System updates.

Tasks:

• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
• Stage service orders for dispatch (pull, fill, count, confirm products for each job).
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.

Working Conditions and Related Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Ability to spend time: kneeling, bending, twisting, crouching, stooping, climbing a ladder.
• Ability to work in a non airconditioned environment (summer heat and winter cold).
• Flexibility to work hours outside of normal work-schedule as needed, in order to meet company deadlines, and business productions goals.
• Hours 6:30 am - 3:30 pm M-F with 1 hr. lunch
