A Warehouse Blank Picker is responsible for selecting and preparing products for shipment in a warehouse setting. The primary duties and responsibilities of a Warehouse Blank Picker may include:
1. Receiving and reviewing pick sheets, work orders, and other shipping documents to determine items to be picked and packed.
2. Locating and retrieving items from their designated storage areas within the warehouse using handheld devices or picking carts.
3. Checking product quality and quantity, ensuring that they are in compliance with the order specifications.
4. Packaging, labeling, and preparing items for shipment to customers, including accurately completing required shipping documentation.
5. Keeping accurate inventory records of items picked and packed, and reporting any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor.
6. Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safe and efficient operations.
7. Operating various warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, and following all safety procedures.
8. Communicating effectively with other warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Requirements for a Warehouse Blank Picker may include:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing.
