KAMTEK is a premier Tier 1, automotive manufacturing supplier that specializes in Class “A” Stamping, Assembly and High Pressure Die Casting that produces Body-side and Door Openings, Roofs, Floor Pans, Wheelhouses, Large Welded Assemblies, Doors, Fenders, Hoods, Lift-gates, Aluminum Shock Towers, and Aluminum Rear Rails. About the Role
The Business Analyst role is to ensure current Business Information Systems are aligning with Business requirements, promote all systems utilization, analyze and maintain system documentation, and training information. Become the catalyst for change to keep all systems up to date and informed of best business practices. Responsible for managing Item Master, Bill of Materials, and Production Routings in CMS. Responsible to implement COSMA guidelines to maintain inventory accuracy. Leader Physical Inventory, cycle count calendar, adjustments.
Your Responsibilities
- Work closely with all departments and groups within the organization that impact inventory accuracy to determine root cause and define controls for inventory inaccuracies.
- Comply COSMA guidelines on Cycle Count checklist.
- Establish and implement cycle counts calendar on productive part numbers at Kamtek Casting
- Supervise Cycle Counters schedule, balance workflow and couch counters to complete calendar on time.
- Monitor cycle count adjustment and report on
- Report and track weekly adjustments on CMS.
- Monitor reconciliation on production and Scrap from production reports.
- Monitor hold locations inventory on CMS to address reduction with owner Department.
- Report accuracy variance to Materials Manager on monthly basis
Who we are looking for
- Must possess good interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently to perform duties with little supervision
- Ability to communicate with team members on all shifts and possess good mathematical and organizational skills
- The environment is high pressure and requires extreme accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to formulate a project and see it through to its conclusion
- Adhere to rules, regulations and/or policies and procedures
- Must understand business processes from beginning to end
- Must possess strong problem-solving abilities as well as good analytical skills
- Must have a background familiar with accounting, purchasing, and materials management
Your preferred qualifications
KNOWLEDGE
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a business-related field or Supply Chain management degree is preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE
WHAT TYPES? Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Related experience in Inventory Control, demand planning, production planning, or supply chain management is preferred.
HOW MUCH? Minimum of 5 years
