The Inventory Clerk will oversee all aspects of inventory management. This position will work with Material Assistant to ensure proper count, item identification, organization, and tagging inbound product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
- Ensure all merchandise is received, counted, stored in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Present a clean, organized, and efficient facility at all times.
- Ensure accurate count of received and shipped items
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and annual inventory count.
- Counting the stocks manually
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and update inventory databases daily
- Organizing the stock in a systematic manner
- Reporting any discrepancies in the products to the material assistant
- Improving on inventory management and procedures.
- Working collaboratively with other areas
- Ensuring low risk of accidents on the work floor.
- Preparing and maintaining log of all the products and supplies.
- Adhering to all the safety rules and regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Verify and tag inbound product to ensure accuracy and that product is placed in proper location.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven work experience as an Inventory Clerk or similar role
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Ability to work extended hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Warehouse Experience
- Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically excel)
- Must be self-motivated
- Reliable, Organized, and Detail Oriented
- Must be able to Multi-Task
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with an obsession with accuracy
- Superior data management and technical skills with the ability to successfully deal with numerical data.
- Outstanding work habits and professional ethics to meet deadlines and handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Preferred:
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors, bending, and kneeling.
