Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Inventory and Logistics Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and scheduling of inbound shipments and ensuring the smooth flow of goods into our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule inbound shipments, optimizing efficiency and minimizing delays.
- Perform all aspects of receiving and inventory management, including processing purchase orders, receiving inventory, verifying pricing for payment authorization, and accurately entering data into the accounting system.
- Generate and maintain daily reports for inbound and outbound shipments, providing valuable insights into our logistics operations.
- Create outbound Bills of Lading (BOLs) to facilitate the shipment of goods to our customers.
- Update and maintain the daily purchase order report, keeping track of orders and ensuring timely processing.
- Utilize truck scales to weigh both inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy in our inventory records.
- Dispatch loads for port operations and effectively manage shipping container schedule
Requirements:
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Above-average math skills, with the ability to perform calculations accurately and efficiently.
- Previous experience in logistics and/or inventory management is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Prophesy, and other relevant software applications with strong data entry skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the role.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: BOE
