What You'll Do:
As an Early Education Intern, you'll be a key player in our Coaching Manager's efforts to create an exceptional onboarding and training program for our coaches. Your role will be to provide valuable support and ensure that every coach has the tools they need to inspire and educate our young players effectively. In addition to that, you'll have the invaluable opportunity to coach classes, guiding and engaging children as you help them learn and grow on the field.
A Day in the Life:
Every day as an Early Education Intern is filled with joy, excitement, and a sense of purpose. Here's a glimpse into what a typical day might look like:

• Safely manage a class of enthusiastic children aged 2-8, providing a positive and engaging soccer experience.
• Implement our curriculum, which focuses on skill development and character building, promoting important values such as teamwork, respect, and determination.
• Arrive on time at your designated locations, ready to provide a memorable customer experience to children, parents, and school staff.
• Collaborate with our dedicated coaches, sharing insights and strategies to enhance their coaching techniques and positively impact children's lives.
• Assist the Coaching Manager with training and onboarding new coaches, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
• Analyze and provide valuable comments on our curriculum, ensuring it remains effective, engaging, and aligned with our goals.

What We're Looking For:

• Detail-oriented and organized: Analyzing curriculum and providing valuable comments require attention to detail and the ability to stay organized.

• Eligibility and availability: You must be eligible to work in the U.S. and have reliable personal transportation. Also a DCF background check will be required.
• Education background: Pursuing or completed a degree in Early childhood education or a related field..

Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program for children ages 2 to 8. Our goal is to leave a positive and lasting impact on kids through introduction to sports and activity.
Our coaches are at the heart of what we do, our real MVPs if you will. They create smiles and deliver character-building FUN by teaching age-appropriate soccer skills to kids in the local community.
Soccer Shots coaches are equipped with

1. Training - We make sure our coaches are comfortable on the field by offering informative online & in-person training to equip coaches with our curriculum and helpful (developmentally appropriate) coaching techniques.
2. Curriculum - Our curriculum is FULL of the stuff kids and parents love! Our program is curriculum based, so coaches are provided with session guides and mobile friendly resources to help you deliver the Soccer Shots experience.
3. Ongoing feedback and growth opportunities - We're a growing business and are always looking to find passionate and reliable team members to help us continue to grow.
4. Equipment - We provide everything you need for a Soccer Shots session in an on-the-go bag that fits in the trunk of a car. It's why we can have Soccer Shots in convenient locations like school gyms, classrooms, outdoor spaces, local parks and community centers.
5. Opportunities to provide feedback - We value the feedback of our dedicated team and want to know how to make our program better for the families we serve, and our coaches.
