The Intern will have the opportunity to apply academic education to assigned tasks, receive on-the-job training, and learn the basics of Revit and mechanical design including HVAC and plumbing systems. The Intern is responsible for all sizes and types of projects, with the guidance and mentorship of experienced engineers. You will learn and grow your experience from concept to completion of construction with the benefit of in-house coordination with multiple other disciplines. TLC provides a defined career path and training at all levels.
Qualifications You'll Need:
- Current student pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or architectural engineering
- Desire to pursue a career in engineering consulting
- Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) from May through August
- Computer software knowledge or ability to learn, as appropriate (Revit, IES VE, etc.)
