Suncoast Credit Union is offering a Collegiate Internship Program! The 10-week paid internship features an educational and skills-based curriculum designed to foster strong leadership qualities, goal development, and professional networking. This hands-on program provides college students with the opportunity to work in a department alongside Suncoast Credit Union employees. Interns will receive competitive pay, a dedicated mentor, and a multitude of professional development opportunities. The IT Intern assists in providing technical support to system users and works alongside Systems Technicians to support and implement such systems.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation of desktop and laptop systems
- Assist with installation of credit union hardware peripherals
- Assist with the setup of new service centers and relocations of current service centers
- Assist with hardware upgrades at service centers and departments
- Organize and maintain inventory of PCs and other related hardware
- Resolve basic entry level support tickets for staff
- Currently pursuing or recently obtained a degree or certification in a computer-related field
- Open to current students or 2023/2024 graduates ONLY
- Ability to work part-time onsite in Tampa, FL (25-29 hours)
- Basic knowledge and understanding of all Credit Union computer systems and software programs required to perform job duties, including Laptops, Desktops, Windows OS, Microsoft Office products
- Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact professionally and effectively with staff
- Ability to work in a high volume, high pace ticket and call environment
- Ability to work under general supervision
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
