Immigration Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) for J-Visa issues
Liaison to Responsible Officer to support OSU’s J-visa initiatives
Clerical Assistant on J-visa Issues for Visiting Scholars
Processing DS-2019 requests forms for J-1 scholars & dependents
Communication with traveling new scholars for arrival purposes.
Initial check-in and orientation of new scholars, ID issuance for scholars and affiliates (non-academic)
Coordinate digital electronic application and maintenance for scholars.
Collection & preparation of data for scholar reports
Development of scholar programs in conjunction with OSU faculty
Process and maintain on-campus work authorizations for international student and scholar employees
All other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, International Studies, Foreign Languages, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
One year of related experience.
Notary Public-within one year of initial hire
Designated School Official (F-visas) - required after hire
Alternate Responsible Officer (J-visas) - required after hire
Work well with International Students
Professional Communication skills
Sensitivity to cultural issues and differences
Accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
