The Role
The International Product Registration Specialist will assist the Compliance, Quality, and International Sales teams in executing the successful and timely registrations of MRO finished product(s) into various international markets. The Specialist will create and review documentation, work cross-functionally internally and also with external partners, and function as an SME in various matters regarding International Product Registration. This is a full-time (40 hr/wk) paid, salary-exempt, fully-remote position. This individual must be able to work the PST timezone.
Responsibilities
- Create documentation as required by international regulatory authorities and registration bodies, including Certificates of Ingredients (COIs), Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), etc.
- Work with MRO contract manufacturing partners to obtain necessary information for Product Registration.
- Function as key technical subject matter expert in matters of International Product Registration.
- Stay up-to-date on any changes in regulations and requirements.
- Track and organize registrations, expirations, and deadlines.
- Communicate and resolve registration issues, discrepancies, inaccuracies, and errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; advanced degree preferable.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience required.
- Strong technical expertise in US and international regulatory systems for the import and export of dietary supplement and food products and for dietary supplement registration in foreign markets.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Superb attention to detail. Must be willing and able to perform diligent and accurate reviews of product packaging.
- Empathetic team-player.
- Strong time and task management skills.
- Proficient with Google Suite (or related software).
- Experience in Asana or similar software (preferred).
- Experience with Propel software (preferred).
- Ability to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) (required)
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including one’s human body.
- This role involves sitting most of the time, but may also involve moving for brief periods of time.
