Sr Maintenance Technician

ABBA Roller is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician who maintains and repairs assigned manufacturing-related equipment throughout the facility in accordance with standard procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies. Performs complex skilled work across multiple functions and operations of the preventive maintenance system.

Job Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance, repair and setup of CNC and Lathe machines
• Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance to get machines up and running to capacity
• Communicate with supervisors and managers to inform of situations that may impact production
• Maintains a safe and effective work area/environment; using appropriate personal protective and safety equipment
• Follows detailed operational instructions, procedures and blueprints while conducting maintenance activities
• Oversees the preventive maintenance system and provides required report
• Determines preventative maintenance requirements for new equipment and trains equipment operators to perform routine maintenance
• Supports the Facilities Function as needed
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary

Job Specifications:

Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Years’ Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience
Skills:

• Strong CNC and Lathe technical background is required
• Ability to troubleshoot effectively and efficiently
• Electrical, hydraulic and mechanical test equipment knowledge
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of PLC's, Drives, boards and electrical schematic reading
• Familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Knowledge around autoclaves and cooling systems is a plus
• Proficient in recognizing and solving complex problems from established operating
• procedures and/or scientific methods
• Familiar with reading and interpreting documents, schematics and blueprints
• Able to recognize and solve typical problems from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods
• Experience in operating forklifts and other powered equipment
• Ability to work within a team environment and able to adapt to changes in work requirements
• Excellent customer service skills

Pay: $31.41 - $41.54 per hour
