Job Description
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an International HR Assistant III you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. This role requires the candidate to work out of the Falls Church, VA office a minimum of three (3) days per week.
As an International HR Assistant, you will support the administration of International Assignments (expatriate administration) and the International Human Resources (IHR) team at GDIT. Duties include administration of Expatriate / International Assignees for assignment on- and off-boarding, Human Resource Information System (HRIS) data entry, draft International Assignment Letter templates for country and programs, generate International Assignment Letters for expatriate assignments, maintain International HR SharePoint site, generation of reports, and soft- and hard-copy records management. Lead and support processing international assignment forms and documentation, as well as, U.S. and non-U.S. tax and payroll forms.
HOW AN INTERNATIONAL HR ASSISTANT III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Enter HRIS information and process forms related to new international assignees, transfers, or status changes in assignment tracking system;
- Generate reports for internal and external use
- Maintain International HR SharePoint site;
- Maintain records including HRIS, Shared Network folders, SharePoint, and hard-copy files;
- Track expatriate employees via data entry and reporting
- Contribute to global mobility compliance and service programs including ability to write/draft, quality assure and maintain version control of, and train stakeholders on company and department policy, procedures, instructions, and forms.
- Maintain process documents for primary responsibilities
- Maintain and support the department e-mail account including archiving, responding to inquiries, processing of forms, and other communications
- Track onboarding of expatriate employees to include
- Expatriate Administration Tracker
- Work with IHR Analysts to follow up on missing documentation
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Associates Degree required
- Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
- Knowledge of general HR practices and procedures
- Required Technical Skills and Abilities:
- Position requires a self-motivated, professional, capable of prioritizing workload and schedule.
- Effective administrative and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of general human resources practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in the use of Workday, MS Office including strong Excel skills, SharePoint and other records and collaboration systems.
