We are interested in candidates who have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to perform well unsupervised. Candidates should have excellent attention to detail, have an understanding of different computer systems and have at least two years of customer service experience.
Core Duties:
- Build and maintain customer relationships and improve customer retention,
- Contact and respond to customers requesting stock deliveries,
- Co-ordinate deliveries with warehouse and carriers,
- Manage and communicate to customers with high priority needs,
- Provide internal and external contacts with customer inventory status updates,
- Work with our sales team on customer quotes and confirming orders,
- Data entry of all customer information, contacts, deliveries and stock movements,
- Anticipate customer needs and make suggestions before customers ask for them,
- Consult with customers after sales to resolve problems and provide ongoing support,
- Work with our lead generation systems to identify and qualify potential customer leads, and provide all necessary information to our sales team,
- Take calls from customers who have questions about products and services,
- Participate in sales meetings, training and trade events to maintain a high level of product and supplier knowledge,
- Complete administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner,
- Complete sales/call reports accurately. Provide relevant and neccessary information on client interactions to other team members.
Skills & Experience:
- Associate degree in a relevant field preferred,
- Two (2) + yeares of experience in an internal Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service role preferred,
- Experience in the food packaging industry optional,
- Ability to type 25-30 words per minute,
- Knowledge of Mircosoft Office, and Windows based software essential,
- Must posess strong negotiaton and conflict resolution skills,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Experience working in a deadline driven environment,
- Ability to identify problems, and their solutions,
- Ability to self-manage multiple tasks required,
- Ability to work in stressful situations,
- Attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
