Internal Controls & Audit Manager

Position: Internal Control & Audit Manager

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000

Reporting Structure: Reports to The Board of Directors with a dotted line to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance and monitor Internal Controls to meet business needs and regulatory standards.
• Conduct comprehensive internal audits to ensure accuracy, budget adherence, and policy compliance.
• Identify and mitigate risks through effective control procedures.
• Present management reports with actionable recommendations for improving Internal Controls.
• Develop and maintain audit programs, work papers, and documentation.
• Ensure integrity of financial data and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in preparing and distributing financial reports.
• Coordinate external audit process and support external auditors.
• Address audit findings and implement recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; CPA or relevant certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal control, audit, or related financial role.
• Strong knowledge of internal control standards, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
