Crestron Electronics continues to experience rapid growth as we invest in resources and create new opportunities; as a result, we have an exciting opportunity for a Summer 2024 Intern to join our Subscription Services in Rockleigh, NJ. This role is designated for a Remote work arrangement. Crestron has office locations in Rockleigh, NJ - Plano, TX and Boston, MA for interns who want to spend time meeting teammates in person.
Crestron Interns and Co-Ops can expect to be challenged with meaningful projects and tasks alongside professionals and subject matter experts in the field. Interns and Co-Ops are assigned a dedicated mentor who will be responsible for their development and acclimation to the company. Crestron will also provide a variety of training and networking opportunities to participants in the program, seeking to present participants with a comprehensive experience that enhances technical and non-technical skill sets and to prepare students for their professional careers. RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities for this internship will include, but not limited to:
- Handling software subscription support
- Proactively work on subscription and renewals
- Work closely with dealers and partners on licensing
- Software licenses this intern will manage includes:
- Fusion
- Hosted Scheduling Services
- XiO
- Flex Care Plans
- AirMedia
- BacNet
- VC4
This internship is an excellent opportunity for a Business-driven student with outstanding communication and customer service skills to learn about Crestron's product line and customer base, while working with a dynamic team.
QUALIFICATIONS
General Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a college or university working toward a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or closely related field
- Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week during the entire internship period
- Commutable to and from the Plano, TX location is a bonus but not required
- Must have permanent, unrestricted work authorization in the United States now and in the future.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- SAP experience is preferred
Other Skills:
- Must be responsible, self-motivated, creative, have a solid work ethic and have a desire to produce a quality product
- Outstanding Customer Service Skill
- Strong communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening) with the ability to articulate work at different levels of the organization
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Inquisitive individual with a desire to learn, possessing a long-term desire to work in the service business
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
- Positive, personable, and able to work cohesively with others across various divisions.
