POSITION SUMMARY
The Intern - Sales Engineer position reports to the Principal Sales Engineer within the Sales Engineering team.
The successful individual in this role will test newly developed features in realistic applications to validate or
show where algorithms can be further improved, and report back to engineering teams. The internship position
is full-time, on-site daily Monday through Friday. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies' HQ in the heart
of vibrant West LA.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Characterization and optimization of Multicast algorithms in a MANET Mesh Network, both in lab and
field environments.
Discern the trade-offs between algorithms based on various factors.
Work closely with software engineering, and other engineering teams to test new algorithms being
developed in realistic environments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
In-progress bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or other
related technical fields.
Ability to lift, up to 50 lbs.
Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Indoor air-conditioned facility
Some outdoor fieldwork.
Lift equipment for setup of demos and testing.
Walking/Moving in the lab.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS - Opportunity to attend off-site events.
