Interns will be responsible for assisting Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism Staff. Work hours will vary depending on activities and events.
*Seasonal: May-August*
Major Duties

• Day to day supervision of recreation facility
• Registering patrons for memberships, programs and rentals.
• Plan and implement recreational activities
• Assist with seasonal sports programs.
• Assist with summer camps
• Set up and break down of equipment
• Plan large events
• Basic upkeep of facilities and parks
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Must be able to multi-task
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Work well with all different ages and backgrounds
• Be a team player.

Supplemental Information
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is typically performed while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, or walking. The employee frequently lifts light and heavy objects.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work is performed in recreational facilities and parks.
