Summary:
- Assists the Packaging Management and the Engineering/Maintenance Team with activities associated with the Packaging Department.
Primary Responsibilities/ Tasks:
- Assist Packaging Management/Engineering/Maintenance Team with area proficient and identify potential improvements.
- Support various departmental project work as well as researching and recommending testing protocols as needed.
- Work with Packaging Management to identify BPR’s and SOP’s required for Quarterly packet and develop system for timely assembly and delivery of packets to QO release.
- Assist in analyzing data, writing reports, and working with the Packaging management for process improvements designed to eliminate or greatly reduce product technical complaints.
- Maintain accurate, succinct and detailed documentation of activities.
- At the end of the assignment (summer) the candidate should prepare and present a summary of assigned projects and results achieved to leadership from the hosting departments.
Requirements:
- Rising Junior, Senior or graduate students pursing a degree in Engineering (Process, Mechinical or Industrial)
- Candidate must currently have a GPA of 3.00 or higher
