What You will Do:
The intern will work as a member of an established team, facilitating team events, helping Product Owner with backlog in Azure Dev Ops, and participating in Quarterly Product Planning to assist in refining the software portfolio for internal users.
What You Will Learn:
The intern will use communication skills to collaborate with technology and business units, and coach through Agile and/or Scrum concepts. Exposure to Software Development Lifecycle, CD/CI and other technical concepts will help the intern comprehend modern concepts of product delivery and business value. In addition, candidate will benefit from real-world exposure to Product Roadmaps, Product Backlogs and Portfolio and Team level reporting.
About You:
A university junior or senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Product Management, or Project Management with excellent communication skills and intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams and MS SharePoint. Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops is a plus.
Available to work full-time, forty hours weekly Monday through Friday, for thirteen weeks beginning in May or June on-site daily in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Work Style:
Umpqua Bank offers a Flexible Workplace Program and this opportunity comes with the Flex Office work style which is working in office from a designated company location three days weekly with flexibility to work remotely up to two days weekly.
Our Benefits:
The pay rate for this role is $20.00 per hour. Interns are eligible to participate in the company's 401(k)-retirement savings plan and are entitled to paid sick time and holiday pay.
