What You will Do:
The intern will support the Salesforce Release Engineering function within the Core Platform Team under the supervision of a Senior technical team member. The intern will be responsible for supporting Management and Configuration of the Non-Production Environments and automation of Release Notes for Production Releases. In addition, the intern will participate and achieve certification as outlined below:
Training: Enroll and complete nCino training and complete capstone project. Enroll and complete Salesforce Admin Beginner Trail and Salesforce Admin Project.
Participate in Technical Support Office Hours: review, research and resolve incoming service requests to support the needs of our end users.
Environment Maintenance: Assist with promoting change throughout the environments. Participate in refreshing and updating non-production and training environments to support the needs of the project.
What You Will Learn:
The high-level learning objective for the intern include mastering platform navigation, understanding data modeling, and acquiring proficiency in building custom applications. Anticipated impacts on professional development involve understanding CRM/Loan Origination strategies, and improved problem-solving abilities, positioning interns for success in Salesforce related roles.
About You:
A university junior or senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Management Information Systems with proficiency in programming languages (e.g, Apex, Java), familiarity with database concepts, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and effective communication abilities. Prior experience or course work in Salesforce administration and development is a plus.
Available to work full-time, forty hours weekly Monday through Friday, for thirteen weeks beginning in May or June on-site daily in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Work Style:
Umpqua Bank offers a Flexible Workplace Program and this opportunity comes with the Flex Office work style which is working in office from a designated company location three days weekly with flexibility to work remotely up to two days weekly.
Our Benefits:
The pay rate for this role is $20.00 per hour. Interns are eligible to participate in the company's 401(k)-retirement savings plan and are entitled to paid sick time and holiday pay.
