Responsibilities
The Electrical Engineering team is seeking an innovative, highly motivated individual to join us in the development of state of the art hardware for these systems. The Intern will get the chance to work side by side with expert Embedded SOC Processor/DSP, FPGA and Analog hardware designers to help develop new state of the art and world changing products in the areas of situational awareness and video analytics as well as advanced imaging sensors and cameras.
Qualifications
- Current undergraduate student in electrical or computer engineering program
- Due to Government contract requirements candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Interest in analog and/or digital design as a career path.
- Some experience with circuit design and modeling is a plus.
- Familiarity with OrCAD schematic capture and SPICE simulation tools is a plus.
- Previous exposure to printed circuit development is a plus.
The salary range is: $20-$27/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
