- Intern will be responsible for performing exploratory data analysis and data-mining techniques to define analytical models
- Developing advanced quantitative models using a variety of programs/software to support predictive assessments
- Designing algorithms that allow several different models/methods to be used in unison
- Building, testing, validating and demonstrating analytical models through various relevant error metrics and calibration techniques
- Working with IT partners to deploy models into production, closely monitoring and reporting out on KPIs/results
- Explain analytics model behavior and results in business vernacular
- Follow technology trends in data science, Machine Learning, and artificial intelligence, sharing new trends, concepts, and techniques with team members

Qualifications specific to this role:
- Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other quantitative discipline
- Familiarity with data mining, cleansing, analyzing, modeling, and integration techniques
- Experience with building and refining Machine Learning models
- Familiarity with programming languages (SQL, Python, R studio, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to tell a story with data
