Interior Designer for 4Ever Remodeling
We’re looking for a positive, ambitious, forward-thinking Interior Designer who loves to create, build spaces from scratch, visualize their vision, and loves interaction with clients. This is a vital role focused on assisting clients with Kitchen, Bathroom, Basement and Home Designs, making sure their visions become a reality. Experience, bright ideas and sealing skills are required.

The person we hire will support the design team in taking care of the clients. Interior designer will go on in-home consultation with the potential client, review project scope of work, provide design suggestions, establish project budget, take measurements, invite client for the showroom to go over the design drawing with scope of work and pricing, sign the contract, execute the design for the client based on the proposal signed with the client and purchasing finished products. We’re looking for someone who will add to our company culture, is hungry to make an impact, and wants to grow together.
This is a full-time position. We would love our Interior Designer to join our team at the showroom space located in Chicago, IL
Responsibilities:
- You will schedule initial meetings with our client at their home to, review project scope of work, provide design suggestions, establish project budget, take measurements, invite client for the showroom to go over the design drawing with scope of work and pricing.
- You will prepare the drawings, contract and pricing based on the budget established at the initial meeting, meet the clients at the company showroom to review design, products, scope of work, pricing and signing a contracts.
- You will continue design process after you sing the contract to complete the design with product ordering.
- Be proficient in design software Chief Architect, Auto-Cad, 20/20
- Experienced in ordering cabinets and products from various vendors.
- You’ll host the meeting in our showroom to present the ideas and initial design.
- You’ll revise the drawings, selections and prepare the cost sheet after the in-showroom meetings with client.
- You’ll present the client with the final drawings, selections, and budget for the project.
- You’ll prepare the contracts based on the design and product selections.
- You’ll obtain necessary costs from vendors for custom made products.
- You’ll update necessary spreadsheets with the items selected and cost.
- You’ll prepare the change orders and collect the payments for products.
- You’ll order necessary products for the client and coordinate the deliveries with project manager.
- You’ll report the project completion to the management team with all necessary notes and guides for the project.
- You’ll maintain the showroom library with the newest samples.
- You’ll support the management team with the design related questions.
You'll be successful if you're great at:
- Implementing company SOPs to effectively close projects, compete in design, and implement projects for production.
- Demonstrates strong abilities in both negotiation and client communication.
- Demonstrates high-level abilities in selling and overcoming objections to close projects.
- Ability to complete designs and order products from sign contracts.

- Communicating with team, collaborating, and getting creative to reach your goals
- Top-level internet research skills – you should be a master at Google
- Handling a high degree of autonomy and responsibility from day one while thriving in a supportive team environment
- Creative, conceptual, and customer-centric thinking as well as deep technical understanding of the construction
- Proofreading and editing for grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Have experience with these software’s
- Chief Architect, Auto-Cad, 20/20
- Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Ordering cabinets
- Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required). Our new showroom location will be relocated to Niles in 2024.
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year, plus 4% commissions on contract labor and sold products, ranging from $30,000 to $130,000 (after onboarding expectations are completed)
You can earn $100K+ if you meet our baseline expectations, $150K+ if you excel, and $200K or more if you are exceptional
