- Serves as an engineer/ test officer. Conducts test and evaluation of military equipment in test projects. Performs and determines analysis and evaluation of testing alternatives.
- Reviews design and user specifications, evaluation plans, and material performance criteria. Determines methods and procedures to test for technical performance, properties, design characteristics, and test duration.
- Develops cost estimates, test schedules, executes tests, and analyzes data accumulated from testing. Reviews data collected for completeness, accuracy, and validity.
