This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence and Analysis (l&A), Deputy Under Secretary for Intelligence Partnerships (DUSIP).
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Intelligence Operations Specialist and support fusion centers, state, local, tribal, territorial, and private sector partners (SLTTP), DHS Components and the Intelligence Community on a temporary detail rotation.Qualifications: Applicants must be currently serving in a GS 13 billet to be considered for this assignment.
You must have one year of specialized experience that has provided the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
For this position, specialized experience is defined as supporting ongoing or emerging substantive intelligence collection and dissemination activities in any established specialty area. Such experience may include conducting a variety of complex assignments within his/her area of responsibility and conducting and directing in-depth research and analysis in support of homeland security. Working with State and Local partners to create and information-sharing environment between them and the National Intelligence/Law Enforcement community.
