In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. The USDS FUSE Intelligence program is an all-hazards team that develops products and services with action-based outcomes to reduce and identify risk to TikTok USDS. As a Fusion Intelligence Analyst, Fraud, Safety, and Integrity, the candidate will be responsible for conducting monitoring, research, and advanced intelligence analysis to support and inform stakeholders combatting money laundering, financial crime, payment fraud, and inauthentic activity within the TikTok US ecosystem. The candidate will be responsible for conducting analysis of content and user behaviors to surface harmful trends related to financial fraud, money laundering, and inauthentic behaviors.
The candidate will effectively fuse their knowledge of evolving cybercriminal ecosystems, payment fraud behaviors, money laundering, and financial crime with their insight into the USDS business to generate data driven, action oriented intelligence for stakeholders. The candidate will possess outstanding skills in advanced research and investigative techniques to develop tailored fusion intelligence products, especially with the use of data query languages and graphical analysis tools. This role will require close collaboration with internal Financial Crime, Payment, Converged Risk, Trust and Safety, Anti-Automation, Cyber Threat Intelligence, other USDS security teams, and various business departments.
The candidate must also demonstrate outstanding intelligence writing and communication skills, contribute to cross-functional teams on a global scale, engage in response actions across various security disciplines, excel in a fast-paced and ambiguous work environment, and share pertinent information as needed to support the company's critical business, market strategy, and operational infrastructure requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Own on-platform and off-platform monitoring for threats related to financial crime, payment fraud, and inauthentic behavior
- Conduct advanced analysis and intelligence reporting using SQL and Graphical analysis tools
- Work cross functionally with stakeholder and intelligence teams to build alerting and reporting SOPs
- Maintain and tune data flows within a Threat Intelligence Monitoring Platform
- Develop automations to enhance intelligence collection and processing
- Identify and further develop current sources and reporting processes
- Provide timely escalations and reports with recommended mitigation strategies for business partners
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Cybersecurity, information security, privacy, risk, compliance, project management or like discipline from an accredited college or university or measurable knowledge / experience from proven industry, military, defense, or government operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with threat intelligence or threat monitoring
- Direct experience working with graphical intelligence analysis tools such as Linkurious, RipJar, Maltego
- Direct knowledge of cybercriminal and payment fraud ecosystems
- Experience creating and disseminating intelligence reports to multi-level audiences in a technical environment
- Knowledge of intelligence data sources and platforms
- Experience in a security or intelligence role within a global enterprise or intelligence vendor
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience developing and executing work processes in a fast-paced, ambiguous, technical environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) along with teamwork and collaboration abilities on global and multi-functional teams with different intelligence source groups
- Demonstrates time management and prioritization skills
- Highly motivated to contribute and grow within a complex area of emerging importance in an enterprise environment
