Form of workDelta Research is has multiple positions available for analysts and engineers with experience in intelligence analysis and modeling and simulation of foreign weapon systems.
Background: In support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), the U.S. Army, and other government/industry partners, Delta Research executes some of the most technically challenging jobs in the Defense Industry. Examples include new technology assessments, threat assessment, system requirements development, high fidelity system modeling, ground and flight test planning and test and operational system performance assessments. Position Description: We need analysts and engineers who understand how military radars, missiles, and C4 systems work, how to assess the capabilities of threat radars, missiles and C4 systems based on available intelligence data, and how to develop high fidelity computer models of these systems. Specific duties will vary based on experience, but candidates can expect day-to-day tasks to include the assimilation of all-source intelligence data to verify the performance of models of these threat systems, determine overall capability assessments, identify intelligence gaps, and produce intelligence products that define the threat system characteristics for the rest of DoD. The high fidelity simulations of threat systems must also sometimes be adapted to run in laboratory environments where they interact with other simulations of foreign, allied or U.S. military systems, testing the performance of countermeasures and strategies the warfighter may employ.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Science or other similar scientific field. Electrical and Aerospace Engineering preferred. Master's degree may be required for some slots.
Security Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain a top-security clearance is required. Existing clearance is desired.
Experience Requirements: 3+ years of experience in defense related analysis, modeling and simulation. Experience in radar, missile and Command, Control, Communications, and Computer (C4) technologies and systems a plus as is previous experience with analysis of intelligence data related to these systems.
Anticipated Salary Range: Dependent on experience
