AddressWillis Towers Watson is seeking a full-time Power BI Analyst to fill our Sr Data Analyst role that will focus on deploying Power BI reports for the business and assist with ETL integrations. Candidates with prior data experience interested in mastering PowerBI, or entry-level candidates with an acumen for problem solving will also be considered. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and create data visualizations that enable data-driven decision-making throughout all levels within our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Power BI, data modeling, a good understanding of business processes and excellent communication skills.
The Role
- Develop user-friendly PowerBI dashboards designed to efficiently present a diverse range of data, reducing time-to-solutions and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Gain a deep understanding of the business processes, establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and create relevant data aggregations to drive business efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with all business departments to ensure alignment of reporting objectives.
- Take ownership of monitoring and setting up alerts for KPIs, actively contributing as an analyst to optimize performance metrics.
- Continuously enhance and refine existing Power BI inventory to meet evolving business needs.
- Utilize DAX queries and functions within Power BI and SQL to explore and manipulate data before report creation.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, providing realistic timelines for project completion.
- Exercise discretion in interpreting requests, balancing adherence to instructions with the opportunity to leverage PowerBI functionalities for enhanced outcomes.
- Implement ETL files with our carrier partners for premium reimbursements to our members.
- Assist other team members with training and development
The Requirements
- Strong candidates will have prior experience working in Data and/or PowerBI or other BI tools.
- Self-motivated, highly analytical, organized and uncompromisingly detail-oriented
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL (SQL Server or other), Power BI.
- 2+ years’ experience with DAX, Power Query
- Azure Data Lake
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Consistent in meeting deadlines and following through on commitments

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role.
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $50,000-55,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
