Integration Architect (Java), #706

Clearance: Current DHS or DHS component clearance required

High-Level Project Summary/Intro: Dev Technology Group is looking for a strong developer/architect to help our team with complex system integration tasks that arise in our environment, with application components in different security postures and environments. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and in coordination with other team members, and like to tackle hard problems and dig deep into an issue to find the solution within the constraints that exist. This is a great opportunity to work on mission-critical systems that bring clear value to the end user and to the customer.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Design and implement integration solutions for system components in different environments (inside agency firewall, outside agency firewall)
  • Create solutions in AWS and other types of hosting environments
  • Troubleshoot integration issues with team members in production and non-production
  • Focus on integration with a set of Salesforce applications that connect to other types of applications
  • Learn new technical skills to meet the needs of the project and our customers

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 10+ years in software development roles
  • Experience working on a software development program with complex system integration needs
  • Ability and desire to develop and troubleshoot new solutions that integrate systems inside the organization and with outside entities
  • Experience integrating with Java applications
  • Working understanding of OAuth2, SAML, Identity Providers (IdPs), and Single Sign On (SSO) solutions from a security perspective
  • HTTP concepts, and web security best practices
  • Experience with SSL/TLS certificates, keys, signatures, signing, PKI
  • Basic understanding of DNS, networking and infrastructure
  • Strong experience with API management tools and API Gateway configuration
  • Experience implementing identity management solutions for system authentication and authorization
  • Experience solutioning inside AWS
  • Ability to relate architectural decisions and recommendations to business needs
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly as needed to provide new ideas for solving problems
  • Ability to learn a new business area quickly
  • Experience working with federal government clients, especially with the security requirements that involves
  • Ability to be flexible in working toward design solutions

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Experience with Gloo
  • Experience integrating with Salesforce applications or other COTS solutions that require internet/intranet authentication
  • Comfortable working within a scaled agile program
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification
