As a Finch AI Data Architect, you will occupy a crucial strategic position that transcends traditional data engineering roles. This role demands a broad vision and deep technical expertise in Data Architecture, essential for aligning our data infrastructure with the overarching goals of the enterprise.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technologies and methodologies for processing, analyzing, and extracting value from text-based data sources, moving beyond traditional SQL-centric approaches. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable, secure data solutions that effectively integrate with AI technologies, driving the success of our products and services across various sectors. This position calls for a seasoned professional who can analyze and determine the value of diverse data sets and ensure their optimal contribution to our AI applications. Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture Development: Design and implement Data Architectures that efficiently handle large volumes of unstructured, text-based data, including natural language processing (NLP) systems.
- Text Data Processing and Analysis: Develop and oversee methodologies for text data extraction, processing, and analysis, utilizing technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, or custom NLP tools.
- AI Integration: Optimize data systems for AI performance, ensuring seamless integration with AI applications. Implement and manage data storage solutions optimized for unstructured data, focusing on performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Strategic Data Governance: Lead strategic initiatives for data governance, management, and architecture.
- Data Value Analysis: Analyze data sets critically to assess their value and contribution to AI applications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with senior leadership to align the Data Architecture strategy with business objectives, emphasizing the value of unstructured data.
- Technical Guidance and Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineering teams.
- Innovation and Research: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in unstructured data management and analysis, ensuring our approaches remain cutting-edge.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of Data Architectures.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure data solutions comply with industry standards and security regulations.
- Problem-Solving and Decision Making: Address complex challenges in Data Architecture with strategic and innovative solutions.
Technical Skills Requirements:
- System Architecture Expertise: Extensive knowledge of Data Architecture and systems, capable of designing scalable and secure data solutions.
- Unstructured Data Expertise: Extensive experience with unstructured, text-based data, including processing, analysis, and storage solutions.
- AI Integration Skills: Strong understanding of AI principles and their application in data system architecture.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with NLP, Elasticsearch, Solr, or similar technologies tailored for text data management and analysis.
- Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to drive data strategy and governance to support AI initiatives.
- Critical Data Analysis: Proficiency in evaluating data sets for their potential impact on AI applications.
- Advanced Technical and Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends in AI and data management.
- Experience: Significant experience in Data Architecture, preferably in an AI-focused environment.
- Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Innovative Problem-Solving: Ability to address complex architectural challenges with innovative solutions.
- Project Management and Leadership: Strong project management skills and experience in leading cross-functional teams.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
