Responsibilities
Functions under the direction of the IT Manager. Integration Analyst provides intermediate system-level support of multi-user clinical and financial applications, operating systems, hardware, software, and reporting tools, including installation, configuration, training, maintenance, and support of these systems. Requires intermediate knowledge of systems analysis. Comprehensive knowledge of project management concepts and methodology. Able to lead and participate in project planning sessions. Ability to establish project goals, milestones, and procedures. Able to manage projects with varying levels of complexity. The Integration Analyst works with project leaders on several aspects of project planning to meet project deadlines.
Promotes excellent customer service and strong communication skills to ensure the success of all software applications. Works with outside departments to promote, educate and train on current applications. Works with other members of the Information Systems staff, clinical and operational departments and other WHS personnel to accomplish the goals established for the project.
Analyzes interface requirements for the integration of disparate systems to provide for flow of required data and inter-system data integrity. Designs, develops, coordinates, implements and maintains interfaces using interface engines and point-to-point interfaces. Creates and monitors processes to assure that all interfaces are operating properly and messages are timely being passed between systems. Updates processes on a timely basis as the interface needs of the institution change.
Qualifications
Required Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or a minimum of 5 years' experience in technology and/or healthcare or related industry.
Required Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in technology and/or healthcare or related industry.
- Minimum of 3 years in IT applications implementation/support
Preferred Minimum Certification:Minimum of one of the four certifications/experience below:
- Epic Bridges certification/minimum of 1 year experience implementing/supporting Bridges
- Cloverleaf certification/minimum of 1 year experience implementing/supporting Cloverleaf
- Axway certification/minimum of 1 year experience implementing/supporting Axway
- Device Integration minimum of 1 year experience implementing/supporting Device Integration (such as Philips IBE, Capsule DataCaptor, Welch Allyn Connex, etc.)
Required Minimum Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment by accepting and offering constructive feedback and supporting team goals.
- Ability to multi-task and complete assigned tasks independently withmminimal guidance with close attention to detail, and ability to offer some guidance to other team members.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems, and offer solutions.
- Comprehensive understanding of application support.
- Ability to serve as a primary resource for at least 1 application module.
- Ability to gather, translate, and communicate business or clinical requirements into technical solutions for application implementation.
