Intake/Staffing Coordinator

Exodus Recovery, Inc (Exodus) is looking to hire a full timeIntake/Staffing Coordinator for nights for our program located in Los Angeles, CA.

Job Summary

Intake:

• Receives intake calls and performs intake from community agencies inclusive of hospital emergency departments, law enforcement, county mobile teams and others.
• Screens for appropriate referrals and and assists in arranging admission to the Urgent Care Centers.
• Communicates daily with the Urgent Care Center staff members on any incoming admissions.
• Informs nursing staff of date, time and any medical problems of any admissions
• Consults with Nursing Director or designee for clarification as required and indicated medical clearance.
• Ensure the census flow is maximized at all the Urgent Care Centers
• Know Urgent Care Center census at all times when on shift.

Staffing:

• Assists with the program director and staffing manager to input data into Shifthound.
• Receives sick calls and communicate with unit for replacement of staff.
• Coordinate with director and HR to get staff off Shifthound when staff no longer employed at Exodus.
• Assists program/director with unit census/flow.
• Assists unit with finding a replacement for sick calls as needed.
• Communicate with staff and director to assist with replacement of sick calls.

Requirements:

• Strong customer service experience and computer literacy
• Basic knowledge in medical terminology

Job Type: Full-time
