We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Food Bank Pantry Intake Staff member to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the intake
process for clients participating in the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) initiatives. Your role will involve using the Link2Feed software to ensure accurate data collection and reporting. You will play a crucial part in helping individuals and families access essential food resources while adhering to program guidelines.
- Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming environment at the food pantry.
- Provide accurate and detailed information to clients about the TEFAP and CSFP programs, including
- Conduct initial intake interviews with clients, collecting necessary documentation and verifying
- Input client information accurately into the Link2Feed software, ensuring all required fields are
- Train and guide volunteers in the intake process, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Regularly update and maintain client records in the Link2Feed software, ensuring accurate and up-todate
- Collaborate with other departments within the food bank.
- Attend regular training sessions to stay informed about program updates, software enhancements, and

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in a related field is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often under pressure.
- Empathy, compassion, and a strong commitment to serving individuals and families in need.
- Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are a plus.
