What will I be doing?
- Work collaboratively with the assigned DPO and clinical staff to support business and administrative needs
- Receive and process incoming referrals for mental health services
- Maintain ongoing contact with placement referral sources and ensure adherence to consistent office procedures and practices
- Coordinates work performed in support of assigned program and facilitates communication among programs
- Conducts telephone intake with follow-up assessment interviews on appropriate referrals and ensure the receipt of a referral information
- Arranges for and coordinates appropriate assessments and tracks client from referral to first date of service
- Maintains ongoing relationships with funding agencies and develops new resources through marketing presentations ensuring sufficient amount of referrals for program stability and growth
- Coordinates the administrative functions for the program such as answering calls, greeting visitors, entering required data into EMR system
Am I a good fit?
- Ability to assess the placement, social and treatment services needs of the applicable population
- Knowledge of office practices and procedures
- Computer skills to include knowledge of Excel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human services field
- 1-year related experience in Mental Health or Child Welfare Services’ required
- Experience with an EMR system preferred
