INTAKE COORDINATOR/RECEPTIONIST

We are hiring a in office Intake Coordinator. If you are dedicated and ambitious, Mobile Medical
Group is an ideal place to get ahead. This is a full-time position available at our Murray, Utah Location.
Our Intake Coordinator/receptionist's primary duties will be to answer all incoming calls and transfer to the appropriate destination. Oversee and track all new referrals, schedule them in a timely manner and communicate well with families, home health, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manages all new patient referrals
· Collects all patient information including name, DOB, insurance, facility information, patient’s emergency needs, family concerns, medication list.
· Gathers all needed documentation consents, medical records, POA docs
· Create Patient Chart
· Coordinates with patient & patient families, facility & provider to schedule admit appointments
· Update facility census after admitted patient has been seen
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above.
2. Basic computer skills to assist in routine clerical functions.
3. High school diploma or GED required; Medical field experience preferred by not required
4. Excellent interpersonal skills
5. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner.
6. Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
7. Firm grasp on administrative processes, and organizational policies
8. Knowledge of patient care preferred by not required.
9. Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
