Insurance Verification/Charge Entry

Great Lakes Medicine is adding to our billing department, a full or part-time employee to assist with insurance verification and charge entry in our office in Shelby Township, Michigan.

Insurance verification experience and knowledge of insurance practices is preferred. Must be able to communicate with patients, peers, physicians, and the general public via phone and electronic communication. Telephone communication and etiquette skills are strongly recommended. Computer proficiency is required. Must be able to use billing database, insurance websites, electronic medical records and electronic verification websites.

This is a fast-paced, always-changing environment. Must be a team player willing to work with others. Must maintain a professional appearance.

Monday - Friday 8:30 am-4 pm

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
