We are seeking an Insurance Specialist to join our wonderful and growing family practice. As an Insurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting Patients with their insurance needs. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of insurance policies and procedures. Previous experience is preferred, but we are willing to train.
Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, answering inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Process insurance applications, claims, and policy changes accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms and coverage for clients
Requirements:
- Previous experience in insurance preferred, but willing to train
- Strong knowledge of various types of insurance policies and coverage options
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to effectively communicate complex insurance concepts to clients
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building strong client relationships
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry, record keeping, and policy management
