1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential customers through various channels, such as cold calling, referrals, networking, and online research. Develop a pipeline of leads to reach out to and convert into clients.
2. Client Consultation: Meet with prospective clients to understand their insurance needs, analyze their current coverage, and assess any potential risks. Provide professional advice and recommendations on suitable insurance products that align with their requirements.
3. Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the features, benefits, and coverage options of different insurance policies. Effectively communicate complex insurance concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
4. Policy Sales and Closing: Close sales by effectively addressing client objections, negotiating terms, and demonstrating the value of the insurance products. Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently.
5. Relationship Management: Foster long-term relationships with clients to encourage policy renewals and generate referrals. Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients regarding policy changes, claims, and any other inquiries.
6. Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Continuously update your knowledge of insurance products, industry regulations, and market trends. Stay informed about new products, pricing, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
7. Sales Targets Reporting: Meet or exceed sales targets set by the Company. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and prospecting efforts. Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
8. Professional Development: Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and professional development opportunities provided by the company. Stay updated on changes in insurance regulations and industry best practices. Maintain all required continuing education requirements and required license renewals.
9. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, underwriters, and other stakeholders withing the company to provide comprehensive solutions to clients. Share knowledg3e, experiences, and successful sales strategies with the team.

Responsibilities
Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
Maintain knowledge of new products and services.
Prospecting and generating new businessthrough leads & referral sources.
Be outstanding at relationship building.
Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.
Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personalgoals.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Attend industry events to network and build relationships.
Attend training and continuing education courses.
Requirements
A Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
A Life Insurance license is required.
Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
