JOB SCOPE:

We have an opportunity for a top-performing Risk Manager, Insurance to join our team with responsibilities for enabling TrueBlue's (TBI) Risk Management & Insurance strategy. Reporting to the Director Risk Management, this role is a critical, high-profile role focused on administering all lines of insurance renewals, especially Workers Compensation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

     Responsible for the administration and renewal of company's global commercial insurance programs.

     Build and manage an efficient and effective process for collecting, analyzing, and reporting renewal (and audit) information. Reviews insurance binders and policies for accuracy. Assist in preparing insurance budget, premium invoicing payment and allocation of insurance costs. 

     Administering company's workers' compensation program including Self-Insured & Monopolistic filings and monitor deadlines.

     Identify exposures, recommends solutions, implements approved programs, updates and monitors compliance with insurance procedures.

     Manages end to end insurance renewal cycle for all corporate insurance programs including coverage structures, insurance applications, policy reviews and coverage implementation.

     Oversight of insurance brokers ensuring timely delivery of policies, certificates and other associated documentation.

     Utilize and/or establish analytics and metrics through multiple sources to evaluate loss trends and cost of risk to prioritize resources. (E.g., RMIS, actuarial reports, and broker data)

     Responds to inquiries from internal and external parties as well as from carrier and vendor partners. Advises on day-to-day issues and concerns involving insurance coverages, claims, certificates of insurance and policies.

     Coordinates requests for certificates of insurance (COIs) based on contractual requirements. Ensures updated COIs are provided to credentialing partners and certificate holders on time. 

     Prepare Renewal submission for each line of insurance for submission to underwriters. 

     Prepare insurance summary/white paper for executive leaders' reference.

QUALIFICATIONS:

     5+ years of experience working in the field of finance and/or risk management with a demonstrated record of progressive responsibilities. 

     Strong data management, process, and analytical skills

     Must possess strong project management skills and the ability to manage and prioritize numerous projects under various deadlines and time constraints.

     Ability to make measured recommendations which may have far-reaching business implications.

     Demonstrated technology acumen with MS Office, RMIS and other insurance tools a plus

 

EDUCATION

     BA/BS in accounting, finance, economics, or experience working with risk management data

 

     Relevant certifications (MBA, CPA, CFA, CPCU or ARM) preferred.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

     Employee is frequently required to stand, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time. Requires up to 5% travel. 

 

The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $84,480 to $105,600 per year. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer a competitive benefits package.
