As a Marketing & Communications Intern, you will gain an understanding of the various systems, initiatives, and programs used by the marketing and communications team. The program will provide you with a broad understanding of our social media engagement strategies, graphic design and content development process, new business development systems, and various other applications designed to create a unified brand identify and maximize our AssuredPartners name. You will gain an overall understanding of marketing and communications department operations. You will build valuable skills while working with a fast-paced team and developing time management strategies.

Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office.
- Enters accurate client information into system applications.
- Tracks Marketing Department new business progress.
- Prepares quotes, renewal proposals and other documents for the Marketing Executive and Producer.
- Works with Marketing Executive on quotes for Producers when additional coverage is needed.
- Maintains agency management system with necessary client documents and information.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Travel is expected to be negligible in this role.
- Must be enrolled in post-secondary education, ideally in a degree program concentrating in Marketing, Communications, or Risk Management.
- Ideal candidates will be professional and congenial - with inquisitive personalities and the ability to think critically.
- Must be driven, self-starting, and coachable while demonstrating a high level of maturity.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business documents, and a high capacity for learning is critical.
- Proficient Microsoft Excel skills.
