Marketing Coordinator

Job Purpose

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our vibrant marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting various marketing initiatives and campaigns aimed at promoting our brand, engaging customers, and driving sales. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about marketing and eager to contribute to the success of our organization. This position reports to our Baton Rouge, LA location.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Marketing Manager and collaborates closely to support various marketing initiatives, including social media management, event coordination, content creation, SEO optimization, and CRM support, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals and objectives.
• Serve as the tactical expert for CRM and act as the primary point of contact for the sales team regarding CRM-related inquiries and support.
• Schedule and execute training programs for customers base throughout territory to elevate brand awareness for BBP and partner organizations.
• Manage giveaways and literature, including ordering, shipping, and inventory management, to support marketing and sales initiatives.
• Coordinate registration and materials for trade shows, career fairs and customer training classes, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of marketing materials and promotional items.
• Handle literature requests and sales collateral printing requests, maintaining inventory levels and ensuring timely fulfillment.
• Manage the social media content calendar, including planning, scheduling, and publishing engaging content across various platforms. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Update line sheets quarterly to reflect changes in products, pricing, and promotions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Facilitate new hire setup processes, including email signature creation, ordering business cards, and managing apparel portal access.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and tools (social media, email marketing, SEO, etc.).
• Creativity and the ability to generate fresh ideas for marketing campaigns.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
• Eagerness to learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Previous marketing or related experience (internships, coursework, personal projects) is a plus.
• After onboarding period, this position will have a Hybrid schedule.
