Description:
Candidate would be a member of the CUBRC Aerosciences group supporting high-speed wind tunnel testing. Primary tasks would include making, installing, and wiring custom instrumentation for test articles. Experience working under a microscope and soldering is required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create custom cables
- Precision installation of miniature instruments into wind tunnel models
- Perform calibration and other support activities for instrumented models
- Fabricate miniaturized instruments for models

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with SMD installation, watch repair, jewelry work, or other fine microscopic work would be considered relevant experience
- Excellent communications and organizational skills
- High School diploma or equivalent, additional apprenticeship or education beyond high school preferred
- Ability to follow direction and fully complete all assigned tasks
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to meet eligibility requirements to obtain a government security clearance.
- Willing to work extended hours
