Required Qualifications
Jeanne Clery Act
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act is a federal statute requiring colleges and universities participating in federal financial aid programs to maintain and disclose campus crime statistics and security information. By October 1 of each year, institutions must publish and distribute their Annual Campus Security Policy & Crime Statistics Report (ASR) to current and prospective students and employees. - Provides direct patient care, consultative services, and outpatient services and care of hospitalized patients
- Participates in teaching activities, including conferences and lectures, bedside teaching, outpatient teaching, and rounds for medical students and/or residents, and continuing medical education
- Advances clinical knowledge through scholarly and research efforts
- Performs plastic, cosmetic, and Reconstructive Surgery of the periorbital and facial tissues
- Provides on-call coverage, as scheduled
- Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
- Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Statement of Faculty Professional Responsibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Board Certification in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology
- Strong work ethic and good team player
- Experience in teaching students and residents
- Experience in conducting research and publishing scientific reports

Required Qualifications
- M.D / D.O.
- Successful completion of ACGME-accredited residency training in ophthalmology
- Successful completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship training in ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
- Texas Medical License or eligible for license in the State of Texas
