Glenbrook North High School's Science Department seeks an Instructional Assistant to start immediately.
The Science Instructional Assistant (IA) is student-centered with a strong science and math background, including coursework in the core sciences and algebra. The Science IA will support students in earth science, physics, and /or chemistry classrooms. The IA works closely with classroom teachers and should be able to determine student/teacher needs and meet instructional, academic, and behavioral needs with limited guidance.

- A Paraprofessional (PARA) License or a Substitute (SUB) License is required at the time of hire by the Illinois State Board of Education. D225 can assist qualified candidates in securing a PARA or SUB License.
- Strong background in science and mathematics.
